Owner / Principal Consultant
Dan Fox founded Garnet Springs Group (GSG) in 2016. Dan built a career at Harris Corporation through pricing and negotiating numerous successful federal contracts, and leading these strategic captures in a financial capacity through initial project planning and through delivery. As a Finance Manager and primary audit interface, Dan led interactions with DCAA and Internal/External audit groups for completion of revenue audits, contract audits, provisional rates, and incurred cost proposals. At Hughes Network Systems as the Director of Business Administration, Dan continued to provide expertise in indirect rate structuring and audit, along with leading high profile capture planning, proposal pricing, and subcontractor management. Dan continued this work at Triple Canopy as the Director of Business Management, working to realign the organization under a shared services model and leading pricing strategy and reviews. In 2016, Dan realized his true passions of producing compelling cost volumes and refining indirect rate structures to be an area of focus, which led to the creation of Garnet Springs Group. Garnet Springs Group is founded on the highest ethical standards and a commitment to achieving successful outcomes. We augment the staff of Federal Contractors that may be too lean to staff full-time, or lacking specialized in-house expertise, or Federal Contractor organizations looking to reevaluate their tactical approach to new business capture or financial structuring.
